Chemical Dangers

There are many dangers that can come from a person smoking, including lung cancer, heart disease, stroke, and cell damage. Secondhand Tobacco Smoke, also called environmental tobacco smoke (ETS), is a mix of the smoke emitted from a burning cigarette and the smoke inhaled and exhaled by a smoker. ETS can cause lung cancer and many other diseases in the body. It moves quickly between different rooms in a home, meaning that anyone in the household can be affected by secondhand smoke even without smoking themselves.
